After careful consideration and much deliberation, we’ve reluctantly decided to shut down our affiliate program.

Since we launched our affiliate program in July, 2009, more than 100 individuals have signed up to take advantage of our generous 50% commission structure. Those affiliates have referred 2,769 unique visitors to this site, for which we are truly grateful.

However, in the 12 months since we launched the program, the revenue generated from our affiliates has yet to exceed the additional monthly costs associated with supporting the program. As such, we’ve concluded that the program is not profitable.

A detailed report containing the supporting data was sent to our affiliates via email. If you are an affiliate, but did not receive that email, feel free to contact us via email and request a copy.

A new model coming soon…

We are very excited about a new pricing model which will be announced within the next couple of weeks. We think that the new pricing model will make it easy for nearly anyone to access the WordPress 101 tutorial videos, while expanding the usefulness of this tool for designers, consultants, and other who are interested in referring folks to WP101.com.

Additionally, our new business model will enable us to convert profits into something truly meaningful for others.
